Tau Alpha Chi is a professional organization established to promote scholastic and professional excellence in the field of taxation. Founded in 1983 at Georgia State University, Tau Alpha Chi has initiated over 2000 members, currently averaging 60 active members per semester. Tau Alpha Chi membership is open to undergraduate, graduate, and law students with a common interest -- the area of taxation.
